Troy Bornhorst, O.D., M.S., is an optometrist at Valley Eye Institute, serving patients in Sidney, Piqua, and Troy, OH. He provides patients with comprehensive eye care, diabetic eye care, and medical management of glaucoma.
Prior to joining Valley Eye Institute, Dr. Bornhorst practiced in a multi-location medical/surgical clinic in Cleveland for 14 years.
In addition to medical eye care, Dr. Bornhorst has been involved in several clinical trials, including medicine-infused punctal plugs and light-adjustable intraocular lenses. He has presented research and lectured at several venues, including the American Academy of Optometry and The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO).
In his spare time, Dr. Bornhorst enjoys exercising, playing the piano, and card games like euchre and pinochle. He enjoys spending time with his children, Brynn and Mark, and his wife, Mandy.
