COVID-19 Safety Policy

The safety of our patients and staff is our top priority. We offer enhanced health and safety protocols at each of our locations.

Last Updated:

For patients visiting our Sidney location:

Due to CDC and accreditation requirements, Valley Eye Institute facilities where both clinic and surgery patients share the same waiting area, masking will remain required in these areas.

Throughout our surgery centers, ALL patients, family members, visitors, staff, and vendors are required to wear a mask while in the facility. We will also have masks available onsite for those who need them.

For patients visiting our Bellefontaine, Piqua, or Troy locations:

Valley Eye Institute (VEI) has a “mask optional” policy. VEI providers, employees, patients, family members, visitors, and vendors can choose to wear a mask in VEI clinic offices. Masks are welcomed and encouraged for those who choose to wear them, and they will be available onsite upon request. We ask that everyone exercise kindness, compassion, and patience toward others in support of their personal choice to wear a mask. COVID levels and trends are closely being monitored, and policies may be adjusted as needed.
